March 17th, 2009 No comments

St. Patrick’s Cathedral is just down the street from Christ Church Cathedral and is also a beautiful church that had author Jonathan Swift as a member.
Glendalough Monastery is in the Wicklow Mountains, south of Dublin. It may have been started as far back as the 5th century, but the stone building have survived are from the 11th and 12th centuries. It also has a great museum and walking tails to nearby twin lakes where St. Kevin once lived.
