The passing of Ed McMahon on June 23, 2009, was a great loss to fans classic television. He and Johnny Carson made a team on the “Tonight Show” that have yet to be matched. This clip is a prime example of the comic spontaneity the two made famous.

Today is World Penguin Day. I learned this from the premier source of all things penguin — Craig Ferguson. He mentioned it on his program last night, “Late Night Show with Craig Ferguson.”

I bet this cat’s favorite performer is The Unknown Comic. It likes to stick its head in a paper sack — over and over. No catnip addict, this funny feline gets its kicks without hangovers or need to progress to a bigger bag.
